This spurtle/whisk set is made from reclaimed/repurposed wood from a bed frame I found on the side of the road. A spurtle is a traditional wooden stirring tool, originally used to stir porridge in Scotland as far back as the 15th century. Use it for stirring or scraping whatever you happen to be cooking. Do not soak or put into the dishwasher! Wipe with a damp cloth (no soap) to clean, and condition regularly with a Board Butter like the one I sell in my online store. 10.75 × 1.5 × ½ inch.
